From a young age, I have been obsessed with design. Through my early foundation in mathematics, I quickly found a love for the geometry of woodworking. In 2015 I received my BA in Applied Design at San Diego State University, and currently work as an industrial designer in California.

I am especially influenced by Japanese, Shaker, and Mid-Century Modern design. My work derives the simplicity of traditional joinery and construction methods combined with modern technologies. I use carefully planned mathematics- not to flaunt precision, but instead to make every dimension intentional; yielding a product with a purpose. By using hand tools in conjunction with 3D modeling software and digital fabrication techniques, I blend human consciousness with automated machining. In doing so, I emulate universal geometric patterns, offering the viewer insight to naturally occurring structures that may otherwise remain unnoticed.
